Chiefs vs Seahawks Week 7 Analysis
Seattle are the reigning Super Bowl champions, but are just 3-3 on the year after dropping a tight 17-14 decision to the Broncos on Thursday Night Football last week.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs have yet to lose, and look like a team reborn. Former Seahawk Kenneth Walker III has been a breathe of fresh air for Kansas City’s offense, rushing for 665 yards in just five games while taking the pressure off of Mahomes’ right arm. That’s why Walker’s rushing yardage prop sits all the way at 80.5 with the best OVER and UNDER prices coming at NoVig for his first game against his former squad.
The advanced stats paint an ugly picture for Seattle’s offense. The Seahawks sit 25th in EPA per play, while Steve Spagnuolo’s Chiefs defense are third in EPA per play allowed. That heaps even more pressure on the struggling Sam Darnold.
Darnold hasn’t been playing his best football of late, and he threw another two interceptions against Denver, while completing just 52% of passes. Plus, with Jadarian Price and Zach Charbonnet still injured, Seattle’s rushing attack is unlikely to offer much relief. Seattle’s stalwart defense is more than capable of keeping this one close, but this looks like a matchup of two teams heading in opposite directions.

Kenneth Walker has been a revelation in Kansas City this season while racking up an absurd 665 rushing yards and six touchdowns in just five games. The reigning Super Bowl MVP has changed the entire complexion of the Chiefs offense, taking the load off a Patrick Mahomes shoulders and powering his team to a perfect 5-0 record.
Having said that, my favorite Chiefs vs Seahawks +EV opportunity lies on fading Walker against his former team. Walker UNDER 19.5 receiving yards is +111 at NoVig, while our fair odds price the prop at +105 creating a +2.9% opportunity.
While he’s been a monster on the ground, Walker has totalled just 16 receiving yards over the last three weeks. He’s also crossed 19.5 receiving yards just once this season, way back in Week 2.
