Eagles vs Bears Odds & +EV For Week 3: Can Chicago Cover without Caleb Williams?
The Philadelphia Eagles look to continue their momentum as 3.5-point favorites as they take on the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football in Week 3. With Caleb Williams out with a hamstring this total has fallen from 43.5 to 42.5.

Eagles vs Bears Week 3 Analysis
Philly is 2-0 but the Eagles have hardly looked like a dominant force. Vic Fangio’s defense held on for a narrow 24-22 win over Washington before Jalen Hurts threw a late touchdown pass to escape Tennessee with a 24-20 victory last week.
However, Nick Sirianni’s squad left Nashville with a number of injury concerns after Saquon Barkley suffered a stinger, and Dallas Goedert left the game with a knee injury.
Meanwhile, the Bears have experienced a drastic roller coaster of NFL football through two weeks. Ben Johnson’s offense looked dominant in Week 1 as Chicago hung 59 points on Carolina, while they sputtered to an ugly 9-3 loss to Minnesota in Week 2. Caleb Williams injured his hamstring late in the fourth quarter of the loss, leaving either backup Tyson Bagent or veteran Case Keenum to start on Monday Night Football.
Before you rush to bet on the Eagles, it’s important to keep in mind the Bears have been highly profitable as a underdog of late. In fact, Chicago is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games as a dog, and are 7-2-2 ATS as home underdogs since 2023. At the same time, Philadelphia is just 4-4 ATS in their last eight games as a road favorite.
I don’t expect Johnson to let Bagent or Keenum throw the ball 40 times against Jalen Carter and the Eagles menacing defensive line. As such, the Bears will aim to run the football, which will also run down the clock.
The Eagles should win this game, but Philly hasn’t played well enough to trust as a road favorite. Making the UNDER 42.5 the way I lean, even though that total will likely continue to fall.
Eagles vs Bears +EV Opportunities Week 3

There’s very few +EV opportunities for Bears vs Eagles as of time of writing. However, we get a nice play on Rome Odunze OVER 25.5 receiving yards at -114 odds at FanDuel with a slight 0.1% +EV value.
Odunze is a forgotten man in the Bears offense, so we’re buying low heading into Monday Night Football. The former first-round pick has seen just seven targets so far this season, hauling in five receptions for 95 yards. However, before his injury last year, Odunze was averaging 55 receiving yards per game, and scored six touchdowns in just 12 contests.
Furthermore, the Washington product’s average depth of target of 19.6 yards sits eighth among all wide receivers, leading to his yards per target of 13.6 ranking 10th. The Bears are also in the top-10 in passing plays per game, and with Chicago likely to trail for long stretches without their starting quarterback on Monday night, they’ll be forced to throw to stay in the game.
Odunze hasn’t looked like himself this season, but with a receiving yardage total of just 25.5 receiving yards, we’ll buy low on a bounce back.
