What is the Alt Fantasy Multiplier?
DFS apps like PrizePicks and Underdog price alternate picks with payout multipliers instead of odds — a 1.1x demon here, a 0.85x goblin there. But every multiplier is secretly an odds quote. This calculator reverse-engineers the American odds a multiplier is implicitly charging you, so you can compare it against real sportsbook prices.
How to use it
1.Enter the standard odds per leg for the app's slip type (e.g. -122 per leg on a standard 6-pick).
2.Enter the number of legs and the multiplier attached to the alt pick.
3.The result is the implied odds of that alt pick — compare it to a sportsbook's price for the same line.
Example
On a 6-leg slip where standard legs price at -122, a pick boosting the payout 1.1x is implicitly priced at +100, while a 0.85x discounted pick is priced around -183. Compare those to the sportsbook line for the same alt to see if the multiplier is fair.
